Responsible Soy – what is it, why do we need it, and how do we get it?
Soy is a key component in the feed industry and over the last few years the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS) has been leading an initiative to achieve a global supply of sustainable soy. RTRS now has almost 140 members in 20 countries.
At the seminar we will focus on;
- What are the challenges related to sustainability in soy production?
- What is the solution; what is ‘Responsible Soy’?
- How can you source and supply Responsible Soy?
The aim of this seminar is to present the latest progress of the RTRS, and to hear the views of other important parts of the supply chain with speakers from: WWF, VION, Lantmännen and a European retailer. This is an important seminar for those wanting to understand how a standard for sustainability can be applied to the soy supply chain.
The audience and participants will be drawn from leading feed suppliers, meat producers, processors and retailers in Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
