Impact

RTRS certification Standard for Responsible Soy Production ensures that soy was originated from a responsible soy production process that is environmentally correct, socially adequate and economically viable.

RTRS strives to monitor and evaluate the key outcomes and impacts achieved by responsible soy production thanks to RTRS certification at farm level.

For this purpose, RTRS is working on its Theory of Change (ToC) that will show the actions planned for these impacts to happen and on a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system which will be designed to assess progress, performance and impacts of RTRS´certification.

Theory of change

RTRS started working on its Theory of Change (ToC), that will show not only the change RTRS expects to create globally with the implementation of RTRS Standard, but also how this change is planned to occur, what are RTRS´strategies and actions plan.

The ToC will map out the causal chain or ‘pathway’ among strategies, outputs, outcomes, and impacts as well as the underlying assumptions.

As a first step, RTRS has worked on its long, mid and short-term objectives, designing the path we wish to go through.

Monitoring and Evaluation

RTRS is working on the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system which will enable measuring the intended changes, as well as learning and improve RTRS´ system.

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system

RTRS will upload annual outcome reports to show work done during the year.
