Certification process

Types of certification

Individual Certification

For producers who want to obtain a certificate for one farm.

Multi-site certification

For producers who own or manage several farms certified under a single certificate.

Group certification

For producers who decide to obtain RTRS certification as a group. At group level, a group manager is responsible for supporting members on both technical and commercial matters, and implementing an internal control system.

Group certification allows group members to share the costs of the certification and audits. It is recommended for cooperatives, small and medium-size producers, family agriculture, etc.

Those responsible for auditing and certifying the RTRS standards are the certification bodies through the RTRS qualified lead auditors.
