Call for participation in the Working Group
As part of the revision process of RTRS Standard for Responsible Soy Production V3.1 (“RTRS Production Standard”), the Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS) opens registration to participate in the Working Group set up to perform that task.
Working Group members will analyze comments received in public consultations, and will also propose and evaluate updates to the standard’s indicators.
In line with ISEAL’s Codes of Good Practice and the Association’s multi-stakeholder approach, all three RTRS constituencies, Producers; Industry, Trade and Finance and Civil Society, will be equitably represented in the Working Group. Representatives from the government and the academic sector, experts and certification bodies will be entitled to participate as observers*.
The activities of the Working Group will start in August 2020 and are expected to end by February 2021, with the delivery of the draft version of the RTRS Standard for Responsible Soy Production V4.0.
Exact dates of the meetings will be communicated to participants once the RTRS Executive Committee reviews applications and will be subject to the final decision of the Working Group.
