New RTRS Europe Outreach and Engagement Manager
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Evert Raymakers as “Europe Outreach and Engagement Manager”, effective November 1 2020.
His successful and varied career in Ports and Logistics, trade, manufacturing, and sustainable agriculture and certification has given him an in-depth insight of various industries and sectors. Evert lived and worked in China in the late nineties. He held the position of representative of Rotterdam city, the Chamber of Commerce and the Port of Rotterdam. Evert also represented various Dutch institutions and organizations. He later worked for the Rotterdam Port and was in charge of Asia Pacific.
A few years ago, he moved into sustainable agriculture as UTZ director of Asia Pacific and then joined the merger organization “the Rainforest Alliance”.
Evert brings a wealth of invaluable experience, leadership and bridge-building; which has always been at the core of his work. These times of uncertainty and global turmoil, have sharpened the awareness of what multi-stakeholders representing various interests like RTRS can achieve. I`m absolutely convinced that our ability to spread RTRS` voice will foster further collaboration and have an even more significant impact.
